COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Judge Roy Bean is an American stout brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Fairhope Roasting Company, whose House Blend is cold-brewed and added to this already decadent brew. This beer is our tribute to the beloved Eastern Shore landmark, and much like the old days at the Bean, we think you’ll love spending your holiday with Judge Roy Bean.

mcberko (41820) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 24, 2024
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2024 On tap at Fairhope, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle coffee and a touch of sugars — very timid. Flavour is soft, with a light earthy coffee roast and low-level residual sugars. Very delicate but pleasant and clean. Decent.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2023 Dark brown with a thin, tan head and a cafe au lait, dark chocolate, cola nose. Lightly-carbonated with a mild palate and a dry, dark roast coffee finish.

chinchill (6216) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 21, 2017
12 oz bottle from PA. Pours black with a decent tan head. Lots of coffee and faint roasted grains in the aroma. The flavor is nicely bittersweet with a strong cold-pressed coffee note plus dark roasted grains. Smooth body.

Judge Roy Bean Coffee Stout has a thick, beige head, a dark brown appearance, and minimal glass lacing. The aroma is of medium-roasted coffee, cream, and roasted malt. Taste is of dark bread crust, milk, coffee, faint chocolate, and acidity. No hop bitterness, here. Mouthfeel is thin, and J.R.B. finishes medium dry. RJT

New beer in GA. First time with these guys. Pretty good. Lots of roasty acidic coffee flavors. Bit of creamy milk chocolate to finish. The coffee dominates a bit. Some berry flavors. Would love the bourbon version.
