Opaque, black-brown with a small tan head and very good lacing.
Aroma of dark malt, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, raisins, molasses, coffee and oak.
Taste of bourbon, roasted malt, vanilla, coffee, toffee and molasses. The alcohol not concealed at all, but doesn't burn much.
Full/medium body and low/medium carbonation. with a rich and silky mouthfeel.

The aroma was malty with red wine, whiskey, floral hops and chocolate. The flavor was bitter with red wine, toasty malts, chocolate, marshmallow and whiskey. Long red wine and whiskey finish. Moderately full bodied.
