Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 16, 2015draught@CBF Rapperswil - hazy amber-brown beer with a modest head retention; aroma of caramel and prunes, apples; quite earthy; sweet and full-bodied; quite dry aftertaste of caramel, prunes and pine needles
King_Alex_II (1227) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 13, 2015Brown color with a little foam. Sweetish boozy and nutty nose. The taste is boozy with butter, cookie and a solid sugar overload. Sweet aftertaste as well.
SinH4 (15470) - Garching bei München, GERMANY - SEP 7, 2015At CBF Rapperswil. Brown-amber color with hardly any head. Quite hoppy aroma, berries, other fruits. Taste is heavy, plums, (datteln). The booze is present but not aggressive. A good beer, although not like you’d expect from a barleywine.
anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 7, 2015Tap at CBF. A good barley wine with hints of dates. Usually I’m not fond of those, but here they’re integrated well.
