UPDATED: JUN 17, 2020 Solo cup showing black with half a finger of latte colored foam. The nose shows intense notes of mushroom, moss floor, cacao, and dark chocolate. The palate is lightly carbonated and thick with a heavy mouthfeel. Strong baker’s chocolate throughout with a dark chocolate bitterness.

Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, follows dried fruity, alcoholic, woody and earthy, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is light bitter. Flavor is malts, roasted malts, malt bitter, a light sort of sweetness, liquorice a bit. Thick texture, medium to full body, suitable average to decent carbonation. Solid. 7-4-7-4-15

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2019 22 oz bottle 5/18/19 (Courtesy of TerryR) 46° in Snifter. Pours black with a small tan ring for a head. Aroma of bourbon, caramel, toffee, chocolate, and coffee. Taste of the same with more bourbon and molasses on the back end. This full bodied brew is just phenomenal.
