Taste: hazelnuts, tons of whiskey and oak barrels. Balanced booziness. Lovely drop. Next one please!

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2023 200ml draught, Voodoo and Drekker TTO at Mikkeller bar Viktoriagade. Shared with Skinnyviking. Jet black in the glass, diminishing tan head, dotted spots on the glass. Attractive smell of vanilla chocolate, and earthy malts, well roasted. Solid taste character of cocoa-chocolate, oak, and a biscuit touch. Roasted chocolate malty finish, lingering with warmth from the alcohol. Great sipper qualities. (Copenhagen, 04.05.2023).

UPDATED: MAY 9, 2023 Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade. Low but lasting fluffy brown head. Black body. Roasted malt whisky vanilla cocoa and caramel aroma and flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish. Well balanced with an alcohol level that is nicely disguised.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2023 Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is intense rye whiskey, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is whiskey, wood, chocolate, a dash of fruitiness, warming booze finish. Oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Very tasty, perhaps a dash too much whiskey in the back.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2020 Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, and chili. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and soy sauce, leading to a roasted finish.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2019 Draft sample during Good Vibes. The beer is a thick black with a khaki head of foam. Boozy and earthy and a bit spicy with notes of dark chocolate and dark roast. Bigger body and moderate carbonation.
