COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy, sessionable IPA packed with resinous West Coast hops. When Bob Marley wrote Small Axe in 1970, The Wailers were the ’small acts’ stepping up to chop down the ’big tree.’ Here’s to the little guys.. with their Small Axe.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2024 440ml can: BB 12th November 2024. Drank at my dad's on 30th January 2024. Light golden orange, hazy with a white head. Nice, easy blend of citrussy and piney hops with a decent bitterness; not a lot of malt action.

flying_pig (3134) - IRELAND - AUG 6, 2023
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2023 440ml can from Centra, Enniskillen (£3.30): Very light golden & hazy with a half cm, foamy white head that fades to a thin lacing around the circumference. Citrus & pine hops initially with a decent fruity sweetness backing them up. There's more of a juicy bitterness to the taste, some nice mango, lemon & peach coming through with fine carbonation & a slightly effervescent feel but pretty average overall.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2023 440ml can at Kongs, Cardiff. Hazy light to mid-gold with a bit fluffy white head. Tangerine, grassy aromas, some notes of pine. Sweet taste, more citrus and grassy elements leading to a gorgeous balance in the finish with just a suggestion if astringency. Hallelujah this is nice.
