UPDATED: AUG 18, 2023 Can. Pours hazy amber with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention. Heavy pine and resin hops, light fruity citrus hops underneath, medium hop bitterness, light cracker malt and a dry finish. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2023 Bottle picked up from Globus Getrankemarkt, Plattling and consumed at new house Manghlam, Innernzell, Bayerisch Wald Tuesday 8th August 2023 listening to Tom Robinson standing in for Steve Lamaq on 6Music. We're not cooking Chicken and Chorizo Lasagna tonight, we're doing something else quicker. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Fruity, crisp and dry, quite a nice punchiness for the abv. Apparently there is passionfruit, orange and guava in this.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2023 Pours a golden orange color with aroma of orange, grapefruit with sone grassy notes. Citrus flavors with orange and grapefruit with sone passion fruit and grassy notes.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2023 Bottle at home, koszi Mesi. Pours semi clear goldenish with an orangeish hue and quickly dissipating head. Nose is citruses, orange and passion fruit, some grassy hops too. Taste is that of a macro IPA with artificial fruit and dumb bitterness. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Meh, as expected.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2022 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, some sweet and bready malts along with some toffee. Flavour is crisp malts, bread, some floral and mild fruity notes.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2022 Die reinen Daten des Kona Hanalei Island IPA sind vielversprechend: die Hopfensorten Millennium, Azacca und Galaxy sowie Passionsfrucht, Orange und Guave lassen eine Fruchtbombe vermuten. Die hellgoldene, klare Farbe mit geringem, fast sofort verschwundenen Schaum ernüchtert doch sehr. Bei 4,5% Alkohol bleibt der nüchterne Eindruck auch länger bestehen ... Der Geruch passt auch nicht zu den Erwartungen: muffig und metallisch kommt er daher. Unterste Schublade! Beim Antrunk ganz leichter, wässriger Geschmack von Passionsfrucht - das war es aber schon. Beim Abgang warte ich auf die 40IBU - vergebens. Ein krasser Reinfall. Hände weg! 01-2020
