Shy aroma of distant pumpkin pie sweetness, sweet lime and lime leaf, earthy rainwater. Drinks like a barley-sweet baby Bock with faint vegetal presence, no artificial cinnamon or other spices. Well done, but the question remains what using pumpkin this subtly adds to an otherwise sessionable Helles...
anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 3, 2016Bottle and Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pumpkin can be found in the body and in the palate, but it is rather low. Some vegetable aroma, but is that pumpkin? Lovely carbonation, medium body, rather refreshing and dry. I mean, it’s not a strong pumpkin, it it is not a bad beer.

Taste of pilsner and citrus zest ( and of course pumpkin). Palate feels better directly from the bottle. It was a good late beginning of autumn with this beer.
