UPDATED: JAN 2, 2020 33cl bottle. A very dark reddish brown beer with a big beige head. Aroma of sweet and strong dark malt, chocolate, liquorice, melasse. Taste strong dark malt, liquorice, caramel, chocolate, slightly sticky.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2019 29/VI/19 - 33cl bottle from a trade, shared @ Abeel’s place, BB: 19/IX/18 - (2019-911) Clear dark brown beer, small dense creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit soapy, pretty oxidized, port, dried fruits, caramel, some alcohol, little herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of chocolate, slightly sweet, bitter roast, bit oxidized, caramel. Aftertaste: dried fruits, chocolate, bitter, oxidized, port notes, coffee, nice one!

UPDATED: APR 8, 2018 Zwart met crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Koffie, chocolade, (gebrande) noten, rook, leer, tabak. Iets ziltig, heel klein zuurtje. Bittertje in de afdronk. Niet verkeerd.

Bottle. Opaque deep brown. Decent beige head. Well lacing. Nose: dark malts, roast, coffee, smoke, dates & raisins, some pepper & ash. Medium minus body. The taste is relatively dry. Roasty, tobacco, coffee, just a hint of smoke. Well-hopped. This one is good.

[Butelka] Wygląd: Ciemnobrunatny, obfita piana. Na moje oko zbyt jasny. Obrzydliwa wręcz ilość osadu na dnie, pływające farfocle. Aromat: Głównie kawa, trochę palonego ziarna, lekka czekolada, ciemne owoce, karmel. Smak: Puste, gorzkawa woda zmieszana z odrobiną kawy. Podsumowanie: Nie było warto. Wygląd odpycha, smak nieciekawy. Aromat jedynie cokolwiek obiecuje.

Grappige porter van deze vier brouwerijen. Aroma van laurier en wat zeewier (diepe, groene kleur). Bitterheid van laurier en wat pure chocolade. Geen overduidelijke zoete laag. Droog bier met een bijzonder tintje.

Bottle. Black body with tan head. Aroma is malty roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts some hints of sea. Aftertaste is nice balanced. Was expecting more.

Taste: medium sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of licorice, seewead, yeast, coffee. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and soft carbonation.

33cl bottle split with SimonBlok. Pours a black colour with a lot of floating sediment and a small brown head which recedes slowly. Aroma of toffee, salt, caramel, dark malt, raisins, plums, strawberry. Taste is moderate sweet, medium bitter with a medium dry finish. Notes of cold brewed coffee, peat, slight smoke, caramel. Texture is thin, light bodied with soft carbonation
