Pours pitch black with a small mocha head. Aroma has lots of bourbon, hazelnut, fudge, chocolate, sweet biscuit, burned sugar. Taste is bourbon chocolate cake. So much bourbon, toasted hazelnuts, cocoa, fudge, chocolate.

0,15l from tap at Himmeriget. During Mikkeller Beer Week, 10.05.2017. back Color, small tan head. smells of maple sirup, some bitter herbs, light coffee, molasses, vanilla, spices. nice smell. Full Body, very light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of vanilla, maple sirup, light cinnamon, nuts, very lightly boozy, light wood, licorice. finishes lightly sweet with notes of vanilla, hazelnuts and some molasses. very nice, also a bit heavy. also rather heavy on the vanilla.

What’s Brewing 2016, day 2. Black body with a small brown head. Aroma is roasty with chocolate, bourbon, leather, licorice. taste is roasted and sweet with wooden bourbon notes, vanilla, vineous boozy finish. Dark chocolate playing with bitterness, long lasting full chocolate aftertaste. Excellent.

[5/10/17] Draught at Himmeriget in Copenhagen. Black with a lovely brown head. Amazing aroma, chocolate, Nutella, vanilla, bourbon, roast, sweet, a bit boozy, full-bodied. Wonderful.

(On tap @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, May 9/17) Pours black with a medium tan head and no lace. Aroma of rich chocolate, light maple, bourbon, vanilla, light coconut, hazelnut, nutty roast, a little fruit. Flavour is pretty rich up front, chocolate, fudge, moderate maple, vanilla, smooth whiskey, but becoming a fair bit more bitter with hazelnuts, nutty roast, wood, cacao, softly boozy, lingering bourbon tones. Finishes pretty dry for a stout with a dessert-loaded concept. Medium full body with very low carbonation. Tasty and far more drinkable than I expected.

On tap. Black color with tan head. Bourbon, toffee, dark chocolate, some fruits (dark cherries mostly), a hint of nuts on the finish. Medium body, quite boozy, medium carbonation.
