Black hue with a thin rocky light tan head. Sticky smokey roasty nose with a touch of herbal spices and charred barrel. Smooth flavor with big woody char and smokey tones, dark roasty black malt tones, a hint of Belgian spice and big brash dark maltiness, and a spirit barrel finish with hints of vanilla and spruce and cinnamon and raisin. Dark and complex as with a smokey roasty tone.

22 oz bottle from Total Wine Summerlin shared with drsordr in Vegas. Pours a dark cola brown color with a medium sized khaki colored head that disappeared quickly. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, chocolate, smoked wood, bourbon, dark fruits, more cherry than plum, I actually get a little bit of each beer, maybe a touch thin, lingering aftertaste is good and favors the stout more, a nice find.
