Lore (6832) - Budapest, HUNGARY - FEB 27, 2022
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2022 version 2020, ABV: 5.5%; slightly opalescent pale yellow colour; aroma of pear, apple sauce and some earthy-wine cellary notes; taste is surprisingly dry and sour considering that it is a perry and not a cider with some sour apple juice and earthy notes; really good one!

MicroGrog (3249) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAY 12, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2019 Bottle from Tipsy wines. 2014 vintage. Ommegang anniversary glass. Clear pale straw gold, white-wash head. Sharp berry scent initially, melon, jelly candies, hand soap, floral pear skin. Taste is light & floral. Melon candy, green pears, tannic skin, solid acidity & even a little tart. Dusty, powder texture. Definitely sweet, but a lot else going on. Easy bottle to crush. Good.

czar (14997) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2017
pours clear extra pale yellow with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing - really champagne looking. tons of sweet pears, but never perfumey, lots of woodsiness, some (good) buttery sweetness, almost mead-isa, white pepper notes, some rust soil notes, clean yeast. bright carbonation, light body - never watery; semi-sweet, very lightly tart fruity finish. very nice body, texture and intriguing woodsy-mustiness. solid semi-sweet clean perry!

Ysok02 (3283) - Mons, BELGIUM - OCT 16, 2017
Un très beau poiré tout en finesse et en élégance avec une bouche à la fois tendue et minérale qui n’est pas loin du niveau de Bordelet.

Ritzn (4604) - GERMANY - AUG 31, 2017
Clear yellow with some bubbles.Aroma is citrus pips, pears, some lambic style yeast. Taste is sweet fruit with some apple and pear and juice. Very drinkable without being watery. Juicy. Nice.

FinnIckler (1500) - Berlin, Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 31, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2017 Bottle. Pours clear. Nose is pear, some rotten pears. Palate is sweet pear, apple jam. pretty good, but not as good as the sec

anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 31, 2017
Bottle, at SinH4-5K-MoritzF-10K tasting, from Le Millesime, vintage 2014. Pours almost clear lemon yellow. Aroma is pear, but more apple and other fermentation products. Body is medium, really sweet, a bit sticky, fizzy carbonation. Less balanced than the "sec" version. Good!

SinH4 (15468) - Garching bei München, GERMANY - AUG 31, 2017
Bottle, Vintage 2014, many thanks anstei! Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is pears, some wildness, tart, with more sweetness than the Sec version. Taste is the same, comparably sweet, but super drinkable. High carbonation. I prefer the 2009 sec version, but it's still a nice Perry.

jonas (14068) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 31, 2017
Bottle. Pale golden. Metallic, almond, twig, appleskin notes. Medium sweet base, chewy, light sparkles. Lovely marzipan, green twigs/marzipan, smoothie finish.

4.2
bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAR 26, 2016
Pours a pale straw color with a hint of haze and a finger of tight bubble foam. Lots of soft pear on the nose with some grassy funk, soave nuances and a hint of vanilla. Palate follows and is extremely gentle yet complex with layers of ripe pear, so approachable but so complex !
