Also known as Wild Blossom Sweet Desire
Commercial description
Fermented and aged 12 months in used oak barrels. Intense caramel, vanilla, and tobacco notes from the barrel blend with floral honey overtones. An excellent sipper. Honey wines are believed to be the first fermented beverages on earth. More sustainable than grape wine, each bottle of mead is produced from the pollination of over 2 million flowers, yielding over 20 million seeds to grow the world a little greener. Wild Blossom keeps over 100 Chicagoland beehives, and sources local ingredients whenever possible. Editor’s Note: Exists at 15% to 18%, and ranges in color from golden to amber (the 2006 is reportedly lighter colored due to a different variety of honey and shorter aging time).
