Another of the Grisette beers commissioned by Saint-Feuillien, with extracts of apple, plums and quinces. Creamy, snow white, stable head, dirty ochre blonde colour with pinkish hue, cloudy. Strong apple cider smell, apple juice, lemon, wheat, grass, plum juice, berry jam, honey; soft orangey and apple-like taste, sugary sweet, wheat and honeyish sweetish malts in the middle, dominated by an artificial, even bit lemonade-like sweetness, soft sourishness in the end, cloyingly sweet. I do not like top-fermented sweet fruit beers but this is a bit better than many others I tasted. Which doesn’t mean it’s good.

At Kulminator . Pours clear , no real head . Smell is sweet, potpourri , fruity-chemical . Taste is dusty , sweet, chemical , sticky mouthfeel . Pretty bad .

bottle thanks to bu11zeye. poured yellow with a white head. aroma was passion fruits, citrus, and lime. flavor was 7up and strawberry with a light body and high carbonation.

(25cl bottle best by 2-28-09 thanks to bu11zeye) pale yellow pour with soapy bright white bubbles. Nose of pear, apple, and sugar, Taste of apple juice, mildly tart, ripened/fermented fruits. Too sweet, very soft but abundant carbonation.

(25cl bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of apple, eucalyptus, pear, and white grapes. Flavor of apple, pie crust, and red plums with a soft mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Hazy yellow straw color. Bubbly white head. Aroma of sprite, rice patties and grass. Flavor is sweet clay with a hint of play-doh finish. Easy fruit finish with a slight grainy taste.

Pours pale golden with a small, creamy, white film head. Aroma has light apple zest, berries, herbs, basil and chewing gum. Soft, highish carbonation, fine enough, yet slightly thin mouthfeel. Sweet flavur, apples, a touch smoke and lightly herbal.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Hazy yellow body with puffy head. Nose of sweet apples. Taste of apples and cranberries. Sweet with citrus in the finish.

0.25 l bottle at Vihreä Haltiatar, Jyväskylä. Hazy golden color with thick head. Sweet juicy aroma with apple, raisins, gooseberries and white currants. Very juicy and sugary flavor with apple, raisins and white currants.
