UPDATED: FEB 6, 2021 Bouteille de 33 cl offerte par les parents. Robe ambrée sombre et trouble avec une légère mousse brune. Arômes de caramel, malts et épices. Texture huileuse, carbonatation moyenne, légère. Notes de caramel, épices. Finale courte. Sans plus.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2019 Une bière de couleur ambrée, cuivrée, quasi sans mousse et avec une lie de levures au fond de la bouteille. La bouche est faiblement pétillante, peu marquée par le pain d'épices, maltée et peu amère. Le nez m'est sympathique, mais sans plus, légèrement caramélisé.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2019 Bottle @ home, bought at the brewery. Cloudy amber w a small white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel), heavy spicy/herbal, light hoppy. Flavor medium sweet and spicy. Meidum body, average carbonated. Not a favourite, very special.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2017 0.5l bottle from leclerc at rivetoile in strasbourg, 07.07.2017, 3.42€. pours a cloudy amber with a big head and quite a bit of sediment. aroma of fruity hops, spices, caramel, oranges, gingerbread. flavour of grains, hay, red fruits, berries, spices. not too sweet. rather weird overall.

Bottled, 330ml from Super U in Strasbourg, France. Orange amber with slight white head. Sweet malts lead the way, caramel with a light spiciness, fruitiness. Smooth and easily drinkable but lacks impact really. It’s okay.

Bottle from Casino supermarket, Colmar, France. Cloudy dark amber-brown coloured with a thin white head. It has a spicy red fruit and gingerbread flavour with malty, herbal and slight salty notes on the finish.

33cl Flasche. Braunes Bier, wenig Schaum. Pfeffriges Lebkuchen Aroma. Geschmack nach Toffee und Pfefferkuchen. Gewöhnungsbedürftig!

Bottle (as gift). Pours dark amber with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, malt, cellar, rotten fruits, spices. Flavor is sweet, malt, spices, fruits. Body is watery. Overall: ok.
