Beese (17328) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2020 330ml bottle from Beers of Europe, King’s Lynn and drunk on 19/10/2009. The original version. Big and resinous, with piney nose and dried and tinned fruit. Good mix of bitter, bitter hops and then more sweet, malty, syrupy notes. Big bitter linger.

dimeon (1601) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 12, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 12, 2019 It pours an opaque dark leathery colour with a medium-sized tan head. There is green grass and strawberries on the nose. It is a hop bomb with lots of bitterness and hints of citrus and peach.

Review from notes - one of my first double ipas and one of my favourite back then with decent amount of bitterness, good drinkability and an overall feeling of drinking something different than I used to. With time I think it was a decent, but not amazing dipa.

Wow. That was not that I was expected. Last batch, the best that I have ever tasted. Really caramelly for first, huge body with a realy huge amount of bitterness at the end.

Bottle. Amber Gold in colour. Hoppy aroma. Very, very hoppy; very piney oily resinous hops. Very fruity; bitter grapefruit and lemon citrus, citrus peel. Malty base; lots of toffee, buttery caramel, toasty malts. Very bitter resinous hoppy and dry throughout. Lingering dry hoppy finish. Better beer and much better balanced than the original Hardcore IPA. Very drinkable. Lovely hoppy DIPA! (2010-01)

Arômes de pamplemousse, robe cuivrée, très amère par rapport au corps. Bonne bière, mais la punk est meilleure.
