UPDATED: MAR 29, 2024 Ciemnobrunatne praktycznie czarne nieprzezroczyste piwo z niezłą pianą. Aromat lekko pikantny, białe owoce, głównie winogrona. W smaku gładkie, lekkie nuty palone, dominują nuty od owoców, chyba najwiecej białych, lekka kwaskowosc, jest też dyskretna słodycz. Nie do końca moje klimaty

Medium to big sweet flavour, nicely balanced, dark fruits, rich malts, raisins, nips of cocoa, toasted toffee. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish. Well rounded.

Aroma is semi sweet tangy grape apple, waxy, citrus, boozy bourbon. Waxy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, waxy, vanilla, bourbon, white grape, madeira. Palate is semi sweet, lihjt tang, moderate carbonation, oily.

Craft Beer Junction bottle share, thanks to Dave. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and airy palate, modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, airy dark chocolate and creamy. Huge but strangely mellow bourbon. Trace of raw bourbon but also richly fruity bourbon. Just a mild spice. Manages to extract huge bourbon flavour without ever getting overly boozy. Impressive.

Bottle bbf : 'Please allow this bottle to gather dust through 2020 and beyond' opened 2022.12.31 Happy new Year pitch dark, smooth brown head. sour cherries aroma based in deep dark chocolate and roasted malty notes, some vanilla but not sweet. some wood, vineous wood. flavor is cherries, tons of roasted malts, some oxidation (don't store too many bottles way into 2023 and beyond) Very nice balance between vanilla and cherries, in the end vanilla and chocolate wins out, ending in a roasted malty sweetish way. extremely smooth and blended, not totally over the top tasty, but pretty good.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2021 Bottle at home. Black with brown head. Coffee, coconut, some cherries, a bit of chocolate and barrels. Swedish punschpralin and some very light hints of acidity. Not a big fan.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2021 I have been holding this for a while, but tonight I feel of it. No special occasions. Aroma is elegantly roasty, chocolate, bourbon notes, vanilla, wood. Beautiful pour, black, large tan head, high retention, beautiful lacing. Moderate bitterness and balanced with sweetness, actually even tart red fruit notes, wood, bourbon, chocolate, different from the nose's promises (liar!). Complex, different, barrel evident with its soaked wood in the after taste. Beautiful. Thick and creamy, like a melting chocolate mousse. Low carbonation, no harshness from booze. A beautiful brew, that deserves the choice of being a 10th anniversary beer. Smooth, complex, delicious. Deserves its price.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2021 Flaska från Beer Republic. Svart med brun krona. Kaffe, kokos, mycket choklad, toffee. Snyggt integrerad fatkaraktär med lagom hetta från faten. Körsbären inte särskilt framträdande här. Välgjord och välbalanserad stout där malten och faten får spela huvudrollen. Mycket gott.
