If you expect something like a Guiness or Murphy’s you might be disappointed ... however this brew does stand a right on it’s own ... dark brown (not opaque though) pour with a not very firm head, a smell of chestnuts and herbs and taste of cooked peas mixed with dried fruits, only little bitterness in the palate ....
interesting brew, albeight not a classic ...
