Courtesy of Philippe (Bov) Black color; thin creamy head. Strange aroma, mixing cardboard, glue, roasted malt, yeast, caramel; let it warm and it will show a very nice sweet hop too. Medium body, very strong roasted malt flavor, some caramel too. But at the end the roasted malt flavor is too strong, unpleasant. Again, it gets better when warmer, when the roasted malt is partially corrected by a nice hop. Not bad, but the black malt (burnt) feeling is too much.
courtesy of Yvonne and Peter Dürsteler - cloudy dark bordeaux-brown colour with a fast collapsing foam; slightly roasted; aroma of black chocolate and dried prunes; medium and rounded malt body; fairly bitter with long notes of ashes and cocoa in a dry finish - another good beer from this brewery!
