UPDATED: FEB 5, 2024 Bottle, 750 ml, shared with Miro B and kajser27. Black with tan head. Dense coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, coconut, bourbon, sweet, some bitterness in finish. Very smooth. Full bodied. Oily.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2023 Bottle. Dark brown pour with no head. Sweet chocolate bouquet. Sweet and boozy with chocolate, caramel, and barrel highlights. Good body and mouthfeel.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2023 Bottle shared by friends. Black, thick, with beige head. Loads of cinnamon, coconut and milk chocolate. A bit of barrel. Some nuts. Soft finish.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2022 Bottle from a friend. Black color, beige head. Bittersweet taste with roasted malts, coconut, cinnamon, cacao, chocolate, coffee and nuts. Bitter finish with roasted malts, coconut, cinnamon, cacao, coffee, dark fruits and nuts. Excellent imperial stout.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2022 Strong aroma; big time cocoa, toasted coconut, light cinnamon and coffee. Pours super dense with no head, pitch black color. I have yet to see a side project stout that isn’t a 5 on appearance. Tastes amazing, milk chocolate, toasted coconut, a touch of cinnamon and heavy lactose. No booze burn at all. Very thick palate, great overall.

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2022 750 mL bottle. Inky black. Smells of cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, lots of sugar. Tastes of coconut, vanilla, and cinnamon. Lots of sugar. Bourbon and cinnamon linger. Heavy, sweet, but not quite as aggressive as other SP stouts. Good, surprisingly.

Pours a pitch black in color, reddish brown tint, thick oily body… Aroma of cinnamon, coconut, dark chocolate, coffee, bourbon barrel… Flavor of dark chocolate, vanilla, light cocoa powder, fudge brownie batter, cinnamon and coconut nuttiness. Nice bourbon barrel balance to even out sweetness… Delicious
