UPDATED: JAN 21, 2024 Bottle, bb 5/24. Gold with a good cm of white head that soon fades to a coat. Shyish aroma is grainy with some slightly earthy and spicy hops. Light bodied. A little papery but otherwise clean and straightforward enough with mild bitterness. Just OK.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2022 440ml can from trade with Marek. Alas, not the Subcarpathian region of Poland I was after. Brewed by Zywiec somewhere else. Moderately sweet malt, very distant caramel, perhaps a little thin with very mild metallic suggestions. Fine.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2022 Can. Golden color, clear, white foam. Aroma: malty, grain, a bit hoppy. Taste: slightly tart, a little caramel, alcoholic, watery finish, so-so.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2022 Can (5.2%) from local Polish shop – drank at home. Pours a pale straw with a large frothy white head. Not much of an aroma – just some grains. In the mouth it is light, smooth and sweet. With honey, corn, malts and a hint of ginger. The finish odes have a little bitterness though. Inoffensive and quaffable.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2022 On tap at Cafe Polonez in Toronto. Pours clear yellow-gold with a trace of white head and lots of lacing. Aroma: cereal grains. Flavor: honey, biscuit, caramel. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied, bittersweet finish.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2022 Butelka 0,5 l. Piwo ciemnozłote, klar. Piana biała, obfita, gęsta, trwała, ze śladową koronką. W aromacie nuty słodu, chleba, lekkie siana i kartonu. W smaku słodkawe, słód, chlebowość. Pełnia niska, wysycenie średnie do średnio wysokiego, goryczka jakaś się znajdzie. Rzetelny eurolager, gasi pragnienie.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2022 Malt and grain aroma, some grassy notes. Sweet, malty bread taste with a hint of bitterness.
