2.5 Aranyhegyi Világos Nem egy világmegváltó sör, de legalább nem is annyira rossz, kis májkrémízt érzek benne, de az simán lehet az uzsonnás zsömlyém miatt is. Saturday, April 27, 2019

4.5 Aranyhegyi Világos I was hardly waiting the reopening of the brewery, and I thing it was worth to wait. Far the best lager beer in the past few years in my opinion. If you compare this beer to any other premium lagers this will be in the top three. I think underrated votes come from bad comparing. (IPA memories to European lager taste). Refreshing, clear, a bit dry taste, not too much hops (my girlfriend also likes it very much ) so it is a real premium lager GOOD JOB Mr. Lehmann !! Thursday, July 9, 2015

1.6 Aranyhegyi Világos On tap @ Élesztő - Golden colour with a large, long lasting white head. Sweet malty aroma, low hop bitterness. Unpleasent off-flavours (diacetyl, DMS) can be found. Unbalanced brew (maybe short lagering period). Wednesday, May 27, 2015

2.6 Aranyhegyi Barna 1l PET bottle from the Lehmann Bakery, Budapest. Appearence is medium brown with almost white head which wanishes quickly. Slightly carbonated. Scent of yeast and hops with some brown bread. Taste of brown bread and roasted seeds with some yeast and hoppy finish. It is quite balanced with its light body. A good everydays drinking beer. Shame is the outfit... Sunday, December 1, 2013

3.4 Aranyhegyi Barna 0.5l flip bottle from Főzdefeszt. Dark brown body, nice yellowish head. Foam smells a bit sour, but tastes bitter, quite nice. Head then vanishes quickly, but laces remain. Taste is mildly roasted, aftertaste is mildly bitter. Maybe little a bit of yeasty taste and a hint of metal. Simple but surprisingly well balanced for a small Hungarian brewery. 2.7 Aranyhegyi Barna Colour both ruby and black, white head. Aroma is yeasty, bread- and pasta-like beside the usual coffee/malt/caramel combo. Taste is somehow yeasty and maybe some kind of other mushroom plus sweet caramel. Monday, May 6, 2013

3 Aranyhegyi Barna 0.5l swing top bottle. Dark brown body, beige head. Roasty, bready aroma. Tastes like roasted malts, toast, floral hops and a bit of metal. Go on, brew it! Saturday, February 9, 2013

2.3 Aranyhegyi Barna Pet bottle. Dark brown colour with creamy poor off-white head. Stale tin-like aroma with notes of mackerel. Somewhat lesser of this in flavour but it’s there. Dark notes from old chocolate and...well, dark "malt". Light-medium body. No bitterness whatsoever. Monday, March 7, 2011

2.2 Aranyhegyi Világos Pet bottle. Light cloudy golden colour with low bubbly head. Bit dusty caramelly nose with light floral hops. Pretty fresh maltiness (I got a fresh bottle) but behind a harsh off-flavour or byproduct. Medium bodied and bit chewy. Bit of sewer. Unclean flavour profile. Caramelly maltiness dominates, but there are suggestions of flowery hops. Low bitterness if any. Monday, March 7, 2011

1.5 Aranyhegyi Világos 0,5 l bottle, bought at the brewery. Golden body with a small white head. Weak aroma of straw and sesame, diacetil and herbs. Unpleasant, unmatured character with some malt in the background. Grass, vegetables, straw, unbalanced tastes. Wednesday, December 16, 2009

1.9 Aranyhegyi Világos Quite an average home-made Hungarian lager, with some annoying green notes and otherwisely drinkable body. Wednesday, December 16, 2009

1.8 Aranyhegyi Barna 0,5 l PET, bought at the brewery. Deep ruby colored beer with a nice creamy tan-beige head. Aroma starts with a nice roasted grainy character, some toffee/caramel, but aftert a second comes the acidic perfume. Not a fresh brew... In the aroma again...It could be a better one, but the acidity kills the roasted flavor, the caramel...Kills everything. I will try to taste it again, probably it will be better... 3.2 Aranyhegyi Barna 2 L Plastic bottle from Lehmann Bakery and Brewery. Slightly hazy, oily brown appearance with tiny, diminsihing beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee with sweetish toffee and slight grainy feel. Very good balance between the dry roasted malts and the caramel sweetness. Mainly sweet in the mouthfeel, boldly dry and roasted in the finish. Easy bodied and one-dimensional, but very good stuff compared to the average hungarian micro-dunkels. I will definitely try their other brew, the pale lager. Saturday, November 14, 2009
