Patriot Whichford Wheat
Cask at the Shirley (Solihull) Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak citrus fruit and a little malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a little malt and not much else. A wheat beer? Really? Slightly disappointing really.

Patriot Mild
Cask conditioned at The Norman Knight, Whichford, Warks. Chestnut with cream head. Nutty, malty mild, quite rich for the ABV, nicely roasted malt notes, some dry caramel but as an improver rather than a detractor. Later there is a slight English type leafy hop note. Really a quite decent mild, very good.

Patriot Morris
Cask at The Merchants Inn, Rugby - 25/07/12. Clear gold with a thin white head. Floral hops and malt on the nose. Taste follows with a touch of fruit. Lightish in body but not overly so to detract from the beer and tip it into the ’watery’ category.

Patriot Kiwi
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Gold with white head. This was quite a fruity beer, light on the palate, gooseberry, yes kiwi fruit, sharp and quite green in character. There is a light bitterness. Quite light on malts but pretty decent overall.

Patriot Kiwi
Cask, gravity at Oxford Beer Festival, Fri 28th Oct 2011 Golden in colour with decent clarity, some white bubbles around the edge. I’m guessing that this is brewed with NZ hops, light hoppiness and a little fruit. Tricky to rate stood up in a very busy area with, beer, programme etc in hands. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Patriot Pug IPA
Cask, gravity at Harbury Beer Festival, Harbury, Warwickshire, 03.09.11 Consumed after the two Summer Wine beers and I have to say this was quite a come down. Poured golden with a slight haze. I found this to be a sweet cloying mess, devoid of hops and bitterness this had few redeeming features. Shame really as I really wanted this to be a good beer as it is relatively localish. Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’11. Clear gold with white head. light and a tad thin on the palate with a lemony sharpness and a certain delicate flowery note, orchid like perhaps. This shows a great improvement on previous beer I have had from this brewery and a very pleasant surprise. Cheers.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Banbury Beer Festival 2010. A copper coloured beer with no head. A second successive disappointing beer. This has fruit and TCP with the TCP especially prevalent in the nose. There is a slight sweetness in the mouth but it wasn’t very nice.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’10. Amber with white head. Quite a sweetish boys bitter with a flowery hop on a mid malt body. It just tasted a little under brewed to me. Still ok though and quite drinkable.
