3.4 Camla Farm Cider Appears the same colour as peach juice with the smell of gorgeous, full bodied golden apples. Very little in the way of carbonation or head, but I wasn’t expecting there to be. It tastes naturally sweet, but not cloying like several other ciders on the NZ market. There’s a lovely tingly acid sting on the side of the mouth and tongue. The apples are the star of the show with that lovely peach-like flavour. It puts me in mind of autumn windfall pears too... ah, season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Buy this cider for someone you fancy. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 | |
