Ratman197	3.1 Apocalypse Brohead Fred Can poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of toffee, dried fruit, light licorice and a hint of cocoa. jgb9348	3.6 Apocalypse Ale Works Lustful Maiden Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice three centimetre tall tan head with a solid opaque brown glow - nice looking for the style. Aroma of roasted malt, candy sugar, a dash of caramelised sugars, some toffee, a good deal of earth and some softer nuts along with some subdued alcohol. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt flavours dominate with a ton of caramelised sugars and a good deal of pitted fruits, with a lot of peat notes and a smooth bitterness, mainly from the earth, but also from some nuts, caramel and alcohol astringency. Aftertaste shows the sweetness at first with pitted fruits, alcohol, peated malt, grain and caramelised sugars along with some of the more noticeable nuts and earth flavours toward the end. Overall, a nice and respectful dubbel with a nice backbone, but also a solid complexity that has a good sugar, pit fruit and peated malt set of flavours. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint on draught at Busch Gardens (Germans Festhaus Tent) in Williamsburg, Virginia on 16-November-2019 for US$9,79. Sunday, November 17, 2019

zoucrew102	4 Apocalypse Ale Works 6th Seal (Raspberry) Bomber, 2017 vintage, thanks Russ! Bright raspberry aroma with notes of chocolate, roasted malt and a bit of coffee. Pours deep brown with a large mocha brown head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with sweet raspberry and chocolate malt flavors as well as a full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with a little bit of roasted malt and coffee, but the raspberry overwhelms that for most part. Very nice stout. Sunday, February 11, 2018

hampale	4.3 Apocalypse Ale Works Hoppocalypse (Grapefruit) Acquired can in a trade and wish I'd acquired more than one. I've never been a big fan of grapefruit but somehow its use in this product has produced a rather unique and tasty product. Not only is the product unique but the artwork on the can is definitely highly unique. OnTheTrail	2.7 Apocalypse Ale Works Golden Censer Can opened with way too much head. Sorry, that's not right. Aroma is maybe turpentine? Not as bad as it sounds, but something artificial. Honey underneath after that passes. Maybe a kind of honey flavor I dislike? Taste is bready, more of that odd honey, something hoppy. Light to medium mouthfeel, of course very carbonated. Was hoping for a little more aroma of the hops as that is my preference in an IPA but is a good beer. Nothing too stand out other than that red ale taste to me.
