FACambridge	3.1 Round Tower Stout (4.3%) (from old notes) - Aroma : Medium roasted dark malts, hints of chocolate and coffee with an undertone of blackcurrent and a damp earthy/fusty note. Smooth palate, mildly dry and with just modest fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Mild but clear nail varnish. Little apple. Modest sherry and ripe fruits. Weak and skewed. Lightly sweet flavour with some grassy bitterness, citrus peel, wheat flakes. Light in body with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with further grassy bitterness, hay, more lemon rind. Jet black body. Nicely roasted dark malty aroma, with hints of chocolate. Earthy malts with a delicious chocolate bite to the taste profile followed by a smoothly roasted finish. Fine depth.
