New Bristol Fantazia
Draft at Ninkaci, Eastbourne. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy malt, mango passionfruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, light, juicy tropical citrus, light herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

New Bristol My Enigma Romance
Cask conditioned at the Barking Cat, Poole, Dorset. Straw colour with white head. There is a perfumed, flowery character to this with notes of peach flower and apricots. Tropical fruited notes then come through. It's a little thin on the palate but okay.

New Bristol Bristol Bitter
Cask handpull at Nelson Arms Tonbridge Clear Mid brown colour lasting off white head. Earthy bitter. Some sweet malt. An old style bitter. Earthy. Hedgerow. Some sweet caramel flavour. Some dryness on the finish. Shame about the aroma of white spirit from the kitchen. Decent bitter with enough character to be interesting

New Bristol Dark Chocolate & Cinder Toffee Stout
Keg at Anchor Tap, Croxley, Herts. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, chocolate, caramel taste/aroma. Love the aroma on this one but the taste doesn't really match it, not sweet. Tasty enough stout if a little thin.

New Bristol Dark Chocolate & Cinder Toffee Stout
Black beer, tan head. Aroma has chocolate and toffee. Flavour has toffee, toasty malt, a little honey comb. A bit of toasty malt innthe finish but there's a watery quality to the finish that really detracts from this. It's decent and sessionable but nothing special.

Keg at Kill the Cat, Brick Lane. Black with a beige head. Aroma of liquorice, vanilla and dark malt. Good body. Not too sweet. Nicely balanced. Not entirely sure I’d pin it as Pastel de Nata, but it’s very nice and much better than the other stouts I’ve tried from this series.
