Metalchopz	2.6 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider Can that pours a very, very light yellow-golden colour with a small bubbly cap leaving quickly, but with a tiny foam ring. Mild aromas of apple, but not sweet and feeling some dryness, almost like it is hopped. The taste definitely does not show any sweetness. Very light apples taste, and very dry. Some yeast seems to show on the tongues in the finish. Exactly what you would expect from this cider, as the label says. Very well done. Friday, March 27, 2020
Spab	1.8 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider 473 ml can from the LCBO. Pours a clear ultra pale yellow colour with thin white head. Aroma is very mild with dry apple. BeerPupil27	1.7 Liberty Village Extra Dry Cider I bought this because I previously lived in Liberty Village for a year, and thought, neat name, I'll give it a try. I thought about buying 2 cans, but at the steep price of $5.58 per can (!!!) thought otherwise, and took home one can only - thank GOD!!! I put it in the fridge to let it cool down to a nice refreshing temperature, popped the tab, and took in a mouthful. First sensation was the coolness, and smoothness of it, then the taste of very acidic ....apples? Which then very suddenly went away, and left me with what I can only describe as the taste of cigarette butts in my mouth. No apple, no sugar (extra dry), not even a sensation of moistness, but ashes! I had to force myself to try to finish this can, but each gulp was agony; this is one of the worst ciders I have ever tasted! The reason I am writing this review is because I wasn't even half-way done drinking this premium-priced brew, when (while watching a movie on the TV) my stomach started gurgling, and I thought WTF...oh oh, and ran for the toilet. I barely made it before I puked out all of what I had consumed, and then some! The acid from this brew was so harsh, that it felt like the vomit was burning my teeth, and I had to chew on toothpaste until it felt better again. I couldn't believe it! I drink regularly, and never, never puke, especially with half a can of cider an hour after a tasty dinner, and no other alcohol consumed yet!!!! I poured the second half of the can into the toilet, and so...somewhat poetically, this entire can of liquid crap will eventually find it's way back to Lake Ontario, and will be reunited with it's buddies near Liberty Village. Word of advice, DO NOT DRINK THIS GARBAGE! Thursday, June 13, 2019

Very dry and sharp tasting. The apples fade, it's just a tart, watery random sweet juice. It's like very watered down cider with a bunch of citric acid added for tartness. jercraigs	3.6 Liberty Village 504 Pale Ale 2015-01-08. Dark yellow body with a moderate off-white head and lace. 3+ Interesting hop character is familiar but I can’t quite place the hops. Grassy fresh hops with allusions to citrus and a mango like fruit notes that occasionally produce more impressive moments. 7+ Flavour is moderately bitter throughout, with a similar hop profile as in the aroma, sort of grassy-straw and a fruity melange. Lingering mild bitterness. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Pretty solid, very drinkable. It doesn’t impress at first but grows on me a fair bit the more I drink. Tropical fruit aroma along with some brett and pina colada in the back. Pina colada comes through more in the flavour along with some light hops and brett. Average bodied. I honestly cant find gummies in here....its just slightly sweet, with some nice fragrant citrus zest. This tastes like an old school canadian apa from about 5-7 years ago. Mild aroma is lightly sweet along with light citrus, some biscuity malt and a bit of salt. Nice flavour, it could be saltier and tartier but it’s refreshing and enjoyable. A bit sweet, a bit salty, a bit citrusy and with a light tart finish. The more I drink it the saltier it gets, so get a full pint of it. Average to medium bodied. Pours clear golden with a small white head that fades to a thin remnant and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has big pine and subtle citrus, along with pale malts. The flavour is medium bitter with pine and flowers. The finish is medium in length with soft piney hops.
