Flavour does a good job of balancing out the qualities of a big Belgian ale and the scotch element, with both present but not overpowering the other. Boozy warmth, lots of malt, a little fruit. The whisky is smooth and warm but not especially smokey which is where these sometimes go wrong, and it has a decent body to it with a bit of a malty-sweet finish. Very nice. Neben einer leichten Hopfennote für diesen Bierstil überrascht es mit einem schönen Bananenaroma. Der Körper ist kräftig und auch mit zunehmender Wärme kommt eine tolle Hefenote dazu.
