2.9 Paradox ParaHelles 440ml can. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light funky, herbal. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a crisp, malt, light toffee, herbal, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. 2.9 Paradox Capt.Jack From Beer Drop, canning date is offline; I can't read the month. It pours a clear gold with a fine layer of foam, very good lacing. The smell is bread, some caramel malt, hints of fruit and hops. The taste is bread, grain, caramel malt, weird bitterness that does not strike me well. Good mouthfeel but this is not for me. 3.9 Paradox Sonder Bräu Can from local Home Bargains store – drank at home. Pours golden amber with a sizeable but transient white head. Aroma is sweet with oranges and hints of lemon. In the mouth it is briefly quite sweet before underlying soft bitterness takes over – has an almost buttery texture. Plenty of malt and grains in the flavour along with trces of corn, bread crusts and nuts. Finish is quite bitter and a bit sticky. This is rather nice and hides its strength well – very quaffable ! 3 Paradox ParaHelles Can from Home Bargains, Reading. Yellow-gold with a light haze and a thin white head. Light fizz, maybe a tad watery. The lemony aroma doesn't really continue into the taste - instead there's dust, butter and some Belgian yeast notes. A little toasted banana bread in the finish. The Belgian ale flavour gets stronger as you drink more. It's an interesting take on the helles style but I'd like less dust. It's ok overall. Monday, July 17, 2023

3.5 Paradox Beaver Overbite About a 1 inch thick head of dense creamy bubbles that lingers for a while. Sickly sweet aroma with some decaying grass, oranges, dried wheat, sweet malts and some resinous hops. Color is a hazy golden orange. Malt forward with some bitter orange, dried tea leaves, burnt toast, toasted grains and pine resin. Moderate bitterness that lingers. Noticeable alcohol presence and warming. Finishes dry bitterness and toasted grains. Not a very refreshing IIPA so not great for a hot day but a tasty one. Sunday, June 25, 2023

3.6 Paradox Pilsner Can at Downtown Social in Glens Falls. Straight from the can, so Appearance is like a hobo or maybe a redneck. Still, the black pepper and dusty straw aroma is obvious. Taste is peppery bitter and dry. Quick finish. Can't complain Saturday, May 6, 2023

3.2 Paradox ParaHelles Can from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma has doughy malts, cut through with a citrus, spice and metallic streak. Opaque copper gold. Frothy foamy translucent white head. Medium lemon juice sourness. Sherbert edge. Metallic. Underlying malts. Slightly watered down. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. 2.9 Paradox Sonder Bräu Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Golden with an extremely light carbonation and a thin bubbly head. Aroma aside, there's blurred lines with this style as its bready-banana taste gives it more a wit or Belgian wheat style... so it's certainly not a typical Dortmunder brew, although there are elements of this to be found.
