Rather sweet taste of citrus, dried fruits, and mild impact of brown malts. Rounded bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Light yeast note. Dark fruit notes with a spicy touch as it warms. Flavour is dark fruits, a bit spicy, with a hint of orange. Light yeast note. Malt in the background. Light dusty overtone. Light hop note. Dusty and sweet flavour, overripe fruit and plums, light malty. Dryish finish, light caramel and a hint of liquorice. Lingering light alcohol burn and a mild to medium bitterness. NosirIwont	3.2 Gudenådalens Brown Ale Bottle. 5.6%. Best before 12.15. Pours a hazy orange/brown with a creamy, light tan head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma; malt, hint of bread. Citrusy and fruity as it warms, as well as a spicy hint. Flavour is (citrus) hoppy and malty. Nice balance between the two. Light metallic overtone as it warms. Mild to medium bitter finish, a bit tart, with a lingering grassy note. Overall okay. Not particularly interesting, but brown ales rarely are, and this is one of the better I’ve had. 28.07.15. Sweetish and dry aroma, cereals, hops, with a light spicy note. Hint of plastic as it warms. Flavour is sweet, with malt, caramel, fruits, green apple and a hint of plastic. The sweetness has a light candy-like feel to it. Light raisin note as it warms. Feels a wee bit unbalanced. Malty, fruity finish with a mild alcohol burn. Lingering grassy/apple and malty notes. Caramel, some dried fruits and a touch of nail polish remover in the aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same, with more focus on the dried hops and less higher alcohol. A decent bitterness too. Raisins too. It’s medium bodied, dry and with a bit low level of carbonation. Rasins, caramel and a spiced, yeasty touch in the flavor. Bitter too, especially towards the very end.
