Moderate aromas of citrus and grainy malts. Orange and grapefruit to the taste profile, zesty. Rounded fruity ending with a bitter twist. Nice. (Manchester, 22.03.2024). Tuesday, April 9, 2024
Rune	3 Liberation Guernsey Street NYC Cask ale at King and Castle, half pint. Wetherspoon Beer Festival, March 24. Clear amber-gold body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Moderate aromas of grassy hops and mid-sweet grain. Malt-fruity flavours, herbal hops, grass, grain and a citric note towards a bittersweet ending . Quite alright. (Windsor, 17.03.2024). Scopey	2.5 Liberation Defiant ESB Cask served a bit hote for my liking at The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear amber with a sturdy white head. The aroma is muted malt driven aroma , grain, brown bread, earthy, biscuit, leafy, spice and some distant eggy fart. The is dry, bitter, toothy, chewy, malt driven, twiggy, brown bread, malt loaf, fatty, rivita and some distant egginess with a dry, grainy finish. Average body and moderate carbonation.
