The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, sharp, tangy, vinous, balsamic vinegar, strawberry, light acidity, cola, cherry cola, raisin, sultana, lactic, tangy, light alcohol, damp oak and some leathery tannin witt a drying finish. The aroma is musty, damp wood, gooseberry, white grape, sour melon, sherbet, tangfastics, fragrant, floral, parma violets, refreshers, tangy citrus and grapefruit. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, zingy, sherbet, grapefruit, lemon, lime, tangfastics, white grape skin, gooseberry, pomelo, punchy acidity, damp oak, dull alcohol, dirty barnyard funk, musty, spicy wood, earthy, white wine and tannin with a drying finish. Mellow, soft, malty, with beautifully integrated, exquisitely developed Brett and lacto. Band aid, rubber, hint of sulfur. Just a glorious amount of complex Brett. Funk, leather, cheese rind, bit of lime skin. Close to everything I want in a lambic, perhaps just missing a bit more poopy funk. Per usual, disagree with everything PhillyBeer says. Color: Slightly hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Fruity, subtle funky. Taste: Fruity gooseberry, grape, citrus notes, hay, some rural funk, oak wood and subtle bit sweetish Oloroso notes. Aroma is slightly lactic with hay, bread, honey and bretty notes with apples and berries, as well as farmhouse notes, tannins and wooden barrels. Medium to full, with soft carbonation. davidezdonz	4.4 3 Fonteinen Zenne y Frontera BLEND 93 A 750ml corked and caged bottle, blend°93, season 18/19, bottled on 24th July 2019. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed Zenne glass. It was a lightly hazy golden orange colour, with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly to a ring around the glass, while leaving some nice lacing. Aromas funky, oak, damp wood, vanilla, nutty, sherry, white wine grape skin, yellow stone fruits, green apple, lemon zest. Tastes sour, yellow stone fruit, peach, green apple, wood, oak, sherry, lemon zest, with a touch of funk, and minerality. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, really enjoyable aroma and flavours, especially the aroma which was stunning. Good balanced complexity and easy drinking. Monday, May 20, 2024

It was a very nice clear golden orange colour, with a one finger white head that had pretty good retention, while leaving some nice lacing. Aromas funky, musty, citrusy, lemon zest, green apple, sherry, and some light nutty notes. Tastes lightly sour, lemon, lemon zest, minerals, a touch of funk, and very light nutty sherry notes. Medium bodied with soft to no carbonation. Overall, the citrus and minerality is quite strong and the funk and sherry is not as prominent as in the other blends. Friday, May 17, 2024

Tastes tart, lightly sour, sour unripe yellow stone fruit, green apple, lemon peel, funky, musty, wet wood, and nutty sherry notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
