Thereser Pilsner
"Thereser Pils", Flasche (50 cl) aus einer Metzgerei in Untertheres. Die Flasche nennt auch den Hersteller: Roth in Schweinfurt. - Goldgelb, blank; feiner Schaum.

Thereser Bock
Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge yellow/orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of berries and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of alcohol, wood, and elderberries, leading to a dry berry like finish.

Thereser Dunkel
Bottled. A very dark brown beer with only a faint red shine underneath a beutiful brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also with light notes of dusty hops. The flavor is sweet and very malty, but soon a dryness sets in from very little residual sugar, the hops makes the end slighlty bitter, but the carbonation makes it quite sparkling. Supposedly brewed in Schweinfurt under licens of Lamm-Bräu in Untertheres.

Thereser Bock
(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber colour with a small, off-white head. Lovely malty nose with hints of caramel. Fairly full body with plenty of lightly sweett, roasted malt perfectly balanced by a dry hopping. A good example of how even unspectacular German bocks have a very high quality. 081106

Thereser Dunkel
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a beautiful, dark mahogany with a tint of red. Neat, off-white head. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt. Medium-bodied with good accents of roasted and slightly caramelish malt. A lovely classical Dunkel. 081106

Thereser Pilsner
(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. fairly clean hop aroma. Medium body with a good malt base nicely balanced by a dry, lightly floral hoppiness. According to the Greek host at the Thereser (now defunct) Brauerei anf gaststätte the beers are now brewed in Schweinfurt - by Roth? 081106

Thereser Märzen
A Greek man was serving up at the brewery tap. Has he taken over the brewery? There’s also a Greek restaurant. Luckily, there’s still beer brewed. A vague sweetish peach aroma, not promising much floowed by exactly the same in the flavor. Just a bit of bitterness and a rather sticky aftertaste. Yes, it’s drinkable, but not much more.

Thereser Dunkel
Dark brown color. Off-white frothy head, disappearing fast. Caramelly, sugary aroma, slightly roasted. Sweet and thin, caramelly and sugary. Apple and just a bit of roasted malt. A hint of rubber in the aftertatse. Inoffensive, but unspectacular.
