maekchu	2.7 Nanto Okinawa Sango Saison Bottle. Nose of yeasty esters, vaguely Belgian. Poured out extremely foamy. The foam basically filled the glass, and I had to wait for it to settle. Clear pastel yellow color, with huge streams of carbonation spewing upward. Flavors are gently fruity. Fruit blossoms, yeast, and moderate bittering from mid palate through to the finish. Nanto Brewery Okinawa Sango Beer Saison 4.5% Apparently this was made with water filtered through a coral formed limestone cave. Cloudy gold with a dense thick eggshell white head that lasts. Wheaty, eggy with some spicy yeast notes in the aroma. Light bodied and dry. mrjez	3.5 Nanto Okinawa Sango Saison Bottle from Seijo Ishii, 4.5%. Hazy bright gold, slight honey tinge, big foam. Saison yeast-forward aroma, juicy citrus, some black pepper and sea salt. Flavour is also big on yeast and spice, a tad too much, backed by citrus and light breadiness. Tingly spice, slightly sour, crisp with a bit of hop kick, impressive body and feel for 4.5. Nicely drinkable, seems to be lacking a little finesse but if you like the style it's a decent local representation. Would probably drink again. Thursday, September 28, 2017

Sweet rice nose, feels like they used either some unsuitable yeast or some weird adjunct grains. Tastes stuffy, hop bitterness there but not well balanced. Relatively messy. Sweet.
