yngwie	3.6 HaandBryggeriet / Mikkeller Poor Exchange Rate Can. It's a golden colored very lightly hazed beer with a nice-looking firm white head, finger thick. Some foamy curtains. The aroma is quite spiced piney and grassy, some resiny hints too, along with a gentle touch of pale malts and even some hay. Typical lager character. It's full-bodied, lighlty chewy malty, with a quite soft carbonation and a pleasant bitterness. Piney, spiced and lightly grassy hops up front in the flavor, with a solid but flavorwise quite subdued maltyness in the back. A nice malty, biscuity sweetness in the finish, which is still dominated by the hops. Classic. 240423 Tuesday, April 23, 2024
yngwie	3.5 HaandBryggeriet HaandBayer Can. A crystal clear chestnut colored beer with a nice two-finger offwhite head leaving curtains. The aroma is on the malty side, with bread, dark dried fruit notes, toffee and a nutty, chocolatey touch. Sort of rye-spiced. It's medium bodied and semi-sweet, softly carbonated, with a very gentle carbonation. Nutty flavor with caramel, dark dried fruit, bread crust and some chocolatey hints. Medium length finish. Quite pleasant this one, but I'd sure like to see it at at least 5.5% ABV. 240421 Sunday, April 21, 2024

yngwie	4.3 HaandBryggeriet The Space Between the Stars Can. A oily pour reveals a black beer under a rather minimalistic beige head. The aroma is a bit boozy at first, but after a while it mellows, or the nose has gone dormant, with a good dash of coconut, vanilla and oak. Roasted malts, brown sugar, some licorice and notes of burnt malts and soy sauce. It's full-bodied, silky and quite warming on the palate, with enough bitterness to harness the sweetness. Some tannins too. The flavor is sweet and quite boozy, in a good way, with roasted malts, coconut, coffee, chocolate covered raisins, a light burnt hint and hints of soy sauce. Quite a lot of toffee too. Quite vinous all the way, from the first drop hitting the tongue, to long after the swallow. I can't say I'm really able to find the Barley Wine in this beer, although there's a a vague hint of a more hoppy beer when it warms up, but it's sure a treat anyway. Rune	3.2 HaandBryggeriet / Mikkeller Poor Exchange Rate 170ml draught at Ølhallen. Clear warm golden body under a tiny, white head, clingy lacing. Oily hops and bread-like malts on the nose. yngwie	3.6 HaandBryggeriet Hvermansen Pilsner Can. It's a clear one, or very, very lightly foggy, golden in color, with a white head. Some lacing. The aroma has a pleasant bready maltyness, a touch of hay and caramel, and some grass and generic fruityness. Lightly piney and peppery too. It's crisp and with a decent bitterness, more or less full bodied, and nicely carbonated. Quite fruity flavor too, with lemon notes, pine cones and a hint of grass. Pale malts in the back, with some bread and caramel. Medium length finish with a metallic touch. A pleasant pilsner indeed. 240414 Sunday, April 14, 2024

The interstellar space osv gir tilfører ingenting til denne ølopplevelsen, som i seg selv er sublim og med sitt generøse vitamininnhold effektivt skaper et lite halloi i mitt indre glockenspiel, så det er å bare lene seg tilbake og nyte hver dråpe i kontemplativ ro. Taste is sweet and malty with dry fruit, toffee, warming alcohols and low bitterness. Fine body with long lasting, sweet malty aftertaste. Appealing aroma of dark malt, coffee, mild caramel with a touch of nut cream. Taste is sweet, smooth, dark malt, gentle roasted, toffee, nuts, minerals and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Very nice coffee flavor, normally not to keen on the pasty addition to god beer, but I found this one better than the regular Dark Inception, the coffee part is showcased better with the soft caramel/nut flavors. Black body under a thin, fast disappearing tan head just like a ring at the edge of the glass. Strong aroma, dark roasted malt and Bourbon. Quite boozy in the nose. Taste has sweet, dark roasted malt, some chocolate and coffee, but feels a bit to boozy. Fine body with long lasting Bourbon/booze aftertaste. A touch of rubber too, just like expected from a lingonberry beer. Faintly funky lemony. It's lightly sourish on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a medium body.
