Marko	3.4 Wychwood Hobgoblin IPA Can from Vrutak Kaptol. Huh, a bittersweet rate, wat with Wychwood closing down soon seemingly... Slightly hazy dark amber body, off-white head, medium but not staying for too long. Quite fruity aroma, stone fruit esters mostly, perfumey, rose water, caramelly, just low oxidation. Dryish taste, interrupted by a moment of soft maltiness, orange and herbal notes are there, some stone fruit esters again. This is holding up quite nicely considering it was probably canned Sep 30th 2023 (looking at the best before), just some oxidation is there down the line, but this is and was a very decent beer I feel! ladnewton	3.5 Wychwood Firecatcher Bottle on 2nd June 2024 from Morrison’s, Chalk Farm. Pours clear orangey amber with almost no foam or lace. Caramel malt aroma with fruitiness. Muted roasted barley and a hint of dark fruits in the nose, soft and chalky bitter in the mouth with a hint of roasted barley and blackcurrant. Idiosynkrasie	2.8 Wychwood Hobgoblin Session IPA 500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Weak, piney, leafy and minimally citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, pale and slightly caramel malty background, hints of lemon tea, doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly leafy and piney hoppy, pale and minimally caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness, hints of tea, a touch of lemon tea. Oily watery texture, slightly dry palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively weak and cautious, expressionless - so-so. Saturday, May 18, 2024

LovibondPours23	3.6 Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold (Bottle) Pleasant. Ok, so one has to accept it's now a Marston's brew and they are merrily closing the historic brewery, but it's decent. Golden, refreshing, a little hoppy and easy to drink. At the right price point it could be worth bagging some. Better than average in all respects.
