Cask. Interesting. Hazy golden colour with not that much head. Aroma is kind of leathery and smokey with some herbal tones. Flavour is bready malts, some smokey and mild toasted tones with soe leather and mild floral tones. Most likely not intended to be this way, but actually works...

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Bright golden brown with a thin white film. Aroma of ginger biscuits, pig farms and tea. Not really a winning combination. Flavour is more of the same with bigger biscuits. Slight bitterness on the finish then some sweet malt. So so at best.

A Sim rate (Gravity cask at Reading BF): Interesting. Oily hop nose. Slightly hazy golden appearance. Odd smoky hop flavour. Very dusty almost chalky. Unusual and drinkable.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 07. Initial hoppy leafy nose with pleasant malts in the mouth. I didn’t catch the smoke. For some reason I thought this was a sensible ale that William Cobbett would probably have approved off, at least its better than tea.

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Murky muddy brown colour. Alcoholic nose and very little else going on. Flavour is very citric yet has clear smoky malt. Very unusual and I just cant make my mind up if it works. Citric notes at the finish also. Very interesting if not a complete winner.

Cask conditioned at The Live & Let Live, Cambridge. Gold to amber beer with white head. Dry, hoppy flowery beer with a bitter dry flavour throughout. Perfumed malt in a light body but with enough bite in the alcohol to make it credible. A decent beer.
