Pale Ale - Rye

The Rye Pale Ale, is generally a deep-golden to copper colored, hop-forward ale with a balanced rye malt profile, showcasing a defined rye malt character and generally American or New World hops. The balance is hop-forward, with a clean fermentation profile, dry finish, and clean but still balanced by supporting malt allowing a creative range of hop character to shine through. Rye malt character should be noticeable and contributes to a dry finish. Drier and slightly spicier than an American Pale Ale. Bitterness and spiciness from rye lingers longer than an American Pale Ale. Does not have the intense rye malt character of a Roggenbier.
