This has nothing to do with the world’s greatest sporting event but is a great event in its own right. Once a year the Parkway opens its taps to imported beer, we are staunchly patriotic the rest of the time, for a mini fest we call USA vs. Belgium.

We match American made Belgian style beers and match them against their true Belgian counterparts. Although the Belgians always win, beer geeks are like that, it is a rare opportunity to sample a bunch of fantastic beers all at one time. I feel like I’ve said that before but that’s what the Parkway does.

Look out for Avery’s The Beast Grand Cru, Russian River Consecration, Duchesse De Bourgogne, the delicious and enormous 9 litre bottle of St Feuillien Tripel, Dogfish/Victory/ Stone Saison Du BUFF, Houblon Chouffe and many, many, more
