Featuring craft breweries, and working with sponsors and civic groups, Milwaukee will host its first annual 2010 Milwaukee Brewfest on Saturday, July 31st. Milwaukee Brewfest will be held at the Old Coast Guard Pavilion Park on Milwaukee’s Eastside. This prime location offers a beautiful view of Lake Michigan and McKinley Marina. Location also has ample parking.

The ticketed event will run from 3PM - 7PM, with VIP ticket holders allowed in at 2PM to sample limited edition and rare brews. Approximately 1500 tickets will be sold with advance purchase available online and at select retailer locations prior to the event. General admission tickets will be $40 with VIP Tickets sold at $55.

In addition to unlimited sampling of over 150 craft beers and micro brews from around the world, there will also be a number of other on-site activities:

*Musical performances by Scott Rocket, Revision Text and others

*Home brewing demonstrations

*Exhibits from Museum Of Beer & Brewing

*Contests including keg barrel race, bingo and ring toss

*Crowning of 2010 Miss Brewfest

*A variety of food for purchase from local restaurants and vendors

*Food sampling from various Wisconsin based companies

*Local artist and craftsmen
