So what exactly is a "State-to-State Beer Festival"? ANSWER: We’re throwing a craft beer festival on the Cincinnati, Ohio riverbank of the mighty Ohio River, a craft beer festival on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River in Newport, Kentucky....AND we’re throwing a craft beer festival ON the Purple People Bridge in between!! 2 States...1 Big festival! You’ll find beers only available in their respective states on their side of the bridge and on it (Kentucky owns 85% of the bridge). Their will be local restaurants serving up great food, and live bands to add to the party. And of course...over 150 American craft beers to sample. Produced by the folks at Cincy Beerfest (held in January for 4 years). Yes...there is a catch. You can’t walk across the actual border line on the bridge with beer in your glass. We think most of you can handle that. So join us in Cincinnati....or Kentucky if you prefer...but join us for the inaugural HOPS ON THE OHIO!
