HAVEN4JAPAN: HAVEN GASTROPUB TO HOST FUNDRAISER FOR SURVIVORS IN JAPAN

Owners to Donate ALL Profits; Staff to Volunteer & Donate Gratuities MAR 28th

In response to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan that swept away entire villages and displaced hundreds of thousands of people, Haven Gastropub will be hosting a fundraising event on Monday, March 28 from 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. During the day, Haven will be donating 100% of profits to a relief fund set up through Mercy Corps to help families affected by the disaster.

“This tragedy has global implications and affects all of us – our staff will be donating their time along with their gratuities to the earthquake relief fund,” commented Executive Chef Greg Daniels, who along with Partners Wil Dee and Ace Patel, raised almost $11,000 during a similar effort early last year for those affected by a debilitating earthquake in Haiti. “We’re counting on our many supporters to come out and enjoy our full menu knowing that every dollar they spend will help those in need of our help.”
