To celebrate the launch of the newest beer in our Once Upon a Time series, we’re taking you all the way back to December 6th, 1855 in a pint of an East India Porter.

On the evening of May the 1st, come to Deep Ellum attired in some kind of middle-of-two-centuries-ago fashion, and sip on a fusty old brew that hasn’t been sipped on in quite some time. We’ve dusted off the ancient recipe and put it in our little brewhouse to make new again.

So drag out yer costume boxes! Dig out Great-Granddaddy-Earl’s monocle! Find that good-for-nothin’-but-this-one-night pipe! We want to see you all, and we want to see you all gussied up. Seriously: come in costume or you’ll be the only sorry loser without one. What did they wear in December of 1855, you ask? Why, use the Google, you fool!
