Meddlesome Moth - Maui Brewing Beer Dinner
Details
Meddlesome Moth will host a special beer dinner featuring Maui Brewing on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m., with special guest Garrett Marrero, founder and owner of the brewery.
The Moth will take advantage of the crisp fall weather with a Luau-inspired five-course dinner and beer pairing on its patio, with limited seating for only 50 people. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Marrero, who will lead them through the various courses of the evening.
Each course will be paired with a draught beer selection from Maui’s lineup and will include: a first course of Ahi tuna poke with Macadamia nuts, ginger and scallions paired with Maui’s Big Swell IPA; a second course of Lomi Lomi salmon with Ugly Ripe tomatoes and sweet onions served alongside Wheat Wine; diners will then be treated to Huli Huli grilled chicken over bean thread noodles, paired with Westside ESB; the Kalua suckling pig with Okinawa sweet potatoes and roast pineapple is the fourth course of the night and will be paired with Double Overhead IPA; and finally, a dessert of haupia, a coconut custard and guava cake, will be served with Imperial Coconut Porter.
Tickets for the event are $85, which includes tax and gratuity, and can be purchased by calling 214-628-7900 or in person at the Moth.
