On October 6 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., more than 20 breweries will occupy Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room for a festival that includes more than 75 different beers. With this Groupon, customers get unlimited sampling of all beers during the festival. Visiting breweries include Guinness, Goose Island, and Stella Artois, and firkins (small casks) from Surly Brewing Co., Fulton Beer, Bell’s Brewery, and Lagunitas Brewing Company will be available. Samples of Crispin ciders brim with the flavors of American apples, allowed to shine through by subtle touches of honey or cane sugar, and offerings from Ommegang lean heavily on Belgian traditions. The festival also features specialty booths populated by hand-rolled cigars and advocates from the Minnesota Beer Activists.
