Shanghai International Beer Festival

Friday, October 19th – Sunday, October 21st

The South Bund becomes a beer lover’s paradise for three days as the first ever Shanghai International Beer Festival kicks off at the Wharf 1846 promenade on Friday October 19th.

“Come for a beer, stay for the day”

Organized by Dxcel, Wharf 1846 and TICT, the festival will feature more than 60 beers from 10 countries, delicious food, music and beer-fueled entertainment, all in a beautiful riverfront setting.

Over the last few years, Shanghai’s beer scene has exploded. Options used to be limited to local varieties; genuine beer-bars were few and far between. Today many of the best and most unique beers from around the world have arrived, as well as plenty of great drinking spots, and the Shanghai International Beer Festival is here to celebrate.

More than beer, the festival will also feature fantastic food from the city’s most flavorful and respected eateries, a family fun area, and two stages of fun, beer-fueled entertainment: competitions, performances, games, a ganbei gong, and music curated by TICT.

Participants in the festival will include Dxcel, Duvel, Kaiba, Boxing Cat Brewery, The Brew, Vandergeeten, Dragon Events, Rico Rico, Gold Cider, Kentucky Bourbon Ale, Rives, Thirvine, Rogue, Saranac, North Coast, Brewers’ Association, Craft Beer Association, Santa Fe, Food Fusion, Virgo Club, Shanghai Qiang Sheng Travel on Water, Sherpas, Mexico Lindo, Le Ble D’Or, Da Marco, etc...

All told, it’s three days of can’t-miss drinking, eating, and festival fun along the Huangpu river, under the Pudong skyline. Don’t miss out!

Friday hours are 3pm-11pm.

Saturday & Sunday hours are 11am-11pm.

Cost: 30 rmb for beers
