The DC Debut of Perennial Artisanal Ales from St. Louis, Missouri!

For some time now we have had our eye on this small artisanal craft beer producer, and we are excited to announce that we will finally get some of their delicious brews for the DC market...

Perennial Artisanal Ales has been making quite a splash in St. Louis since their inception back in September 2011; they’ve been consistently crafting small batches of boundary-pushing brews available almost exclusively in Perennial’s home market. On Tuesday, March 19th ChurchKey will showcase 5 different Perennial offerings on draft in DC for the very first time!

Special for this occasion, Perennial is sending a keg rarely--if ever--seen outside of the brewery’s tasting room...Barrel-Aged Abraxas, an Imperial Stout brewed with cacao nibs, ancho chilies, and cinnamon sticks, then aged 11 months in Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey oak barrels with even more cacao nibs, ancho chilies, vanilla beans, and cinnamon!

We will also be featuring Black Walnut Dunkel (a Bavarian-inspired Dunkelweizen amped up with 250 lbs of Missouri black walnuts), Aria (a Saison fermented with Brettanomyces), Saison de Lis (a Saison brewed with chamomile), and Hommel Bier (a dry-hopped Farmhouse brew)...5 impressive ales on draft!
