The Debut of Bluejacket & De la Senne Collaboration Brew "Gray Jacket" + 4 More Bluejacket Brews!

Bluejacket Beer Director Greg Engert and Brewmaster Megan Parisi traveled to Belgium and worked with our good friend Yvan De Baets, Founder and Brewmaster of Brasserie De la Senne, on Bluejacket’s very first transatlantic collaboration. This coming Monday, we will be showcasing this delicious ale, called Gray Jacket, for the very first time...

Gray Jacket is a modern interpretation of a bygone Belgian farmhouse ale style - once called La Grisette Supérieure. True to form, it is a slightly stronger Saison-style incorporating malted wheat...as a nod to modern American brewing, we added Citra hops (which our friends at DC Brau supplied!).

Gray Jacket will be available in 4 oz. pours as well as by the 11.2 oz. bottle. To round out the feature, we will also be pouring kegs of the following recent Bluejacket collaboration brews: Fistcal Cliff (American IPA brewed w/ Three Floyds, Half Acre & Revolution), Share the Rainbow (Coolship Wit w/ Bood Orange & Peppercorn brewed w/ Allagash & Peekskill), Vespula Mysticus (Saison w/ Saffron brewed w/ Mystic Brewery) and Instigator (Doppelbock w/ Mad Fox).
