Tart Tap Takeover
Details
With only 9 taps we felt obliged to fill them with only the rarest, most unique, and (most importantly) delicious sour beers we could find. So, on Saturday, Sept 7th, and after many months of searching and hoarding, we have come up with a line up we feel is worthy of such acclaim. It’s an all day affair starting at 11:30am and ending when the kegs are drained (or 2am, which ever comes first). We’ll also have some pretty amazing bottles from Drie Fonteinen, Cantillon and Sante Adairius. Featured beers will be:
Alvinne/Stillwater
Wild West
Brasserie des Franches Montagnes (BFM)
Square Root 225 Anniversary Sour Saison
Cantillon
11:30 Classic Gueuze
6:00(or so) Vingerone
Crooked Stave

2011-2013

Madamin
Sante Adairius
11:30 Love’s Armor
6:00(or so) Deaf Stewart

Special "Hole Filler"
Boon Lambic Foeder #10 (Boon to be Wild)
To be tapped when a line opens up.
The only keg known in existence in the US. This 9.9% Lambic was brewed in 2007 and aged 3 years in a 6800 litre foeder made circa 1890 in Nurnberg, Germany. The cask was fortunate enough to spend the days of bombing of Nurnberg during WWII in the south of France where it was used to age Gigondas. We aquired this gem in 2010 and are finally ready to release it from the cellar.
